Ten Years of Bondi2Berry: Ride to Remember

This November marks a major milestone for the Bondi2Berry Ride to Remember, celebrating 10 years of cycling to raise funds and awareness for dementia research.

Over 300 riders and crew will take on the 155km journey from Bondi Beach to Berry, passing through the Royal National Park, Wollongong, and Kiama, all in the name of finding a cure for dementia.

Innovync is proud to be a major sponsor of this year’s event for the 10th year, which is organised by the Dementia Research Community, a not-for-profit founded in 2016 by three friends, including Innovync Managing Director, Pierre Sullivan.

What started as a small group ride has now evolved into a national movement that has raised over $1.9 million and funded 10 Australian research projects through its grants program. Every dollar raised goes directly to the researcher, helping accelerate progress towards a future without dementia.

“Bondi2Berry was born from a shared passion to make a difference,” says Pierre. “Seeing it reach 10 years and continue to grow in impact is something truly special. Innovync is proud to keep supporting the cause and helping fund life-changing research.”

Dementia is now the leading cause of death in Australia, affecting more than 433,000 people  a figure expected to rise to 1 million by 2065 without significant breakthroughs.

Events like Bondi2Berry play a vital role in driving awareness, starting conversations, and funding the science that can change lives.
